Taking fitness seriously today means having the best fitness tracker. It is true that money cannot purchase health, but it can help to make or buy products that will help you to protect your most important health.
Investing in a budget-friendly fitness band with an impressive list of features is a win-win situation for a healthier life. Fitness bands are no wonder the hottest electronic gadgets!
The main advantage of getting a fitness band over a smartwatch is the massive price difference. The fitness-themed smartwatches start at 5,000 rupees. With a fitness band, you can access almost all fitness-related functions at half the price.
Furthermore, fitness bands are lightweight and compact, making them ideal for everyday use. Many of them even come with additional app functionality and multiple form factors! Additionally, they have a longer battery life than smartwatches.
Best Smart Fitness Bands Under ₹3000
Fitness bands offer an affordable solution to tracking your day-to-day physical activities.
You will find lots of fitness bands on the Indian market that allow you to track your steps, heart rate, oxygen level, sleep cycle, distance covered, calories burned, and show you notifications.
There are so many fitness bands in India that you might get confused. So, we’ve compiled a list of the Top 6 Fitness Bands under 3000 in India. These bands were ranked based on their overall accuracy and performance.
1. Mi Smart Band 5: Highly Rated Tracker
When it comes to affordable bands for fitness, the Mi Band from Xiaomi is a choice to go for. The recently launched Mi Smart Band 5 is one of the best fitness bands under 3000 in India. The device is lightweight and has a simple design.
Design & Build Quality – As with its previous edition, Mi Band 4, Mi Band 5 has a pretty similar design. There is a slightly bigger screen and visible curves, but the straps remain the same.
Mi Band 5 comfortably fits on the wrist. The charging port and the heart rate sensor are the only downsides. But it has an excellent build quality.
Rubber straps are of good quality, and you won’t run the risk of getting skin allergies if you wear them for a long time. The band can also withstand water immersion up to 50 meters.
Display – The Mi Band 5’s display is the most notable change from its predecessor. The band has a 1.1-inch AMOLED color touchscreen. The Mi Smart Band 5 screen supports 100% of the P3 color gamut.
A bright display also lets you view it in direct sunlight. As there is no ambient light sensor, you will have to manually adjust the brightness.
The touchscreen is fairly accurate. A touch will never be missed, and it’s also sensitive. In general, the display is quite satisfactory.
Sensors/ Functions – The band tracks steps, distance, calories burned, and idle time. It is close to perfect for measuring steps. It uses Personal Activity Intelligence (PAI) technology to determine your true fitness level based on your age, gender, and existing fitness level. It’ll even help you monitor your heart rate and stress levels with increased accuracy.
MI offers 11 workout options like Treadmill, Cycling, Outdoor running, Indoor Cycling, Walking, Yoga, Jump rope, Rowing machine, Elliptical, Pool swimming, and Freestyle.
The breathing guide will ease your stress. It displays the current weather as well as the forecast for the next few days. You can set the alarm, turn on DND mood, control the camera, music, stopwatch, and change the band display and brightness here.
A very useful feature of this band is its women’s health tracker. Besides tracking the menstrual cycles and ovulation phases, it provides timely reminders.
Battery – As of now, Mi bands can be charged magnetically without removing the strap. Just make sure you do not lose the magnetic charger.
According to Mi, the battery will last two weeks, which is less than the battery backup of the Mi Band 4. Obviously, the band can last longer if you use it in power-saving mode.
An hour is enough to charge from 0% to 100 percent, which is fairly fast. After you fully charge it, you will not need it again for 10 days. The band can still remain 87% charged after using it for four days. Therefore, you can expect a battery backup of 10-14 days.
Connectivity – All of the customizations on the Mi Band 5 require the Mi Fit app. You can also track all of your fitness activities with the app.
To get started, you need to download the Mi Fit app from the Google Play Store and then sign in with your Mi account. You must add the Mi Band 5 device as a device after downloading the app. After you accept the pairing request, you’re good to go.

2. OnePlus Smart Band: Runner-Up Pick
The OnePlus Band is the company’s first entry into the popular wearables segment. The new OnePlus Band is an affordable fitness tracker that tracks your daily workouts, blood oxygen levels, sleep patterns, heart rate, and notifications. We can say it consists of qualities that the Best Fitness Band Under 3000 has.
Design & Build Quality – The OnePlus band is free of sharp edges, but it is also not the most visually appealing. After all, it’s just a simple fitness band.
The detachable capsule has a nice round shape and fits well into the silicone strap groove. Unlike the black and gray straps, the tangerine gray variant adds a bit of flash to the product. While the band looks good, it is surprisingly light (under 23 grams) and comfortable to wear throughout the day. Backside sensors measure SpO2 and heart rate, together with charging pins.
Using the touchscreen display, you can navigate through the menus and access the different functions of this device. After a few seconds, the screen automatically turns off. Or you can simply cover it with your palm for a second to turn it.
Display – OnePlus Band features a 1.1-inch, 126×294 pixel AMOLED display. Its self-emitting pixels provide rich, oversaturated colors and deep, rich blacks. Even in direct sunlight, the display remains legible.
Also, the touchscreen performs well. The UI is navigable, even with the limited touch surface. Input delays are usually caused by the band’s hardware capabilities rather than the touchscreen.
There is no always-on display on the OnePlus Band. The wake detection gesture works better than most smartwatches, even those that are more expensive. In terms of email display, the band is not ideal, but it’s adequate for IM chats and to read an SMS OTP.
Sensors/ Functions – Since blood oxygen levels are a key indicator of your overall health, it shows the amount of oxygen your body is receiving and how well it is absorbing the oxygen.
By using red and infrared light sensors, a dedicated blood oxygen sensor monitors your blood oxygen saturation (SpO2). Smart hardware and algorithms monitor your SpO2 to identify potential health problems quickly and accurately2.
You can also use a sleep tracker to get an idea of your sleep pattern. The OnePlus Band monitors your heart rate constantly for exercise, sleep, and rest, whether at work, at play, or during recovery. Additionally, a built-in vibration alarm will sound if high pulse readings are detected5.
You can choose from 13 dedicated exercise modes, including Yoga, Running, Cricket, and Fat Burn Running. Stay motivated with real-time performance statistics based on fitness-specific metrics6. The OnePlus Band lets you get the workout that suits you best.
Battery – OnePlus claims that the Band has a 14-day battery life, which makes sense considering it has very basic sensors and limited smart functionality. You can receive notifications on the band, but they don’t offer much functionality.
The absence of GPS means the band’s battery won’t drain as quickly as it does with other wearables that use GPS. My band is 45 percent charged after a 4-day charge. At this rate, I doubt the band will last 14 days, but thankfully, recharging the band takes barely any time.
Connectivity – To pair the OnePlus Band with your Android smartphone, you must download the OnePlus Health app, log on to the app, and then select the OnePlus Band. In order to pair the band with the app, you must connect the band to the charger.
The band offers a variety of watch faces that you can change. It’s up to you how you customize the settings of the OnePlus Health app as per your needs. The app has a simple interface and is clutter-free.
- A 1.1″ AMOLED display with dual-color bands
- Heart Rate, Sleep and Oxygen Saturation Monitor (SPO2)
- 13 Exercise Modes
- The Water & Dust Resistance up to 5ATM + IP68
- Easy Controls and OnePlus Health App support
This device comes with a touchscreen display, where you can browse through menus and perform different functions. The screen automatically turns off after a few seconds (or for the duration you set). You can also cover it for a brief period to turn it off by hand. Once you figure out how to use it, the watch interface is not the most intuitive.
In addition to its IP68 dust and water resistance, the OnePlus Band is also capable of withstanding 5 ATM pressure, so swimming with it is fine. In reference to these amazing features and a price tag of 2,499, we can say it is the Best Smart Band Under 2500.
- Beautiful design
- Navigating with ease
- Accurate tracking
- Stress is not tracked.
- Irritating app-experience.
3. Oppo Smart Band: A fashionable choice
Basically, the Oppo Band Style is the regular Band that comes with an extra strap, but it has an AMOLED screen, real-time heart rate monitoring, and all the usual features you’d find on a fitness band at this price point.
Design & Build Quality – There is a standard black silicone strap that fits the Band Style, and a protective case with it. The main unit is locked with a gold-finished ring that is attached to a gold-colored case with a white silicone strap.
Despite its polarizing design, the Band Style did look better than most of its rivals, including Realme, Honor, Xiaomi, and so on. Concerning the fit and finish, the lock was sturdy, and no matter which strap you choose, you can be sure of a tight fit. The strap feels strong and is finished beautifully.
This amazing band offers water-resistant protection and can handle depths of up to 50 m. You can also wear the Band in the shower, in the pool, or at the beach too.
The main unit is a single-piece block without any buttons. It is designed with a rounded top that narrows down towards the base – which contains optical sensors and the SpO2 sensor. If you have large arms, the Oppo Band Style may not be for you.
Display – Oppo Band Style comes with a 1.1″ AMOLED color touchscreen with a resolution of 294×126 pixels, 2.5D curved glass screen, and 100 percent coverage of the DCI-P3 color gamut.
AMOLED panels are colorful, vibrant, and responsive. However, outside, in the blazing sun, you might have to raise the brightness to 100% to view the on-screen content clearly.
Sensors/ Functions – There are cards inside the app that display information such as steps taken, workouts completed, calories, and activities. Besides Heart rate and Sleep, there are also workout records and SpO2. The fitness card, located at the bottom, lets you track your walks and runs.
The Band Style’s sleep tracking feature is a major plus. It’s very comprehensive and gives you tips on how to improve your sleep rating on the app. You can also view stage-by-stage breakdowns of your sleep – deep sleep, light sleep, awake town, interruptions, etc.
Battery – Battery charging takes about an hour for the Oppo Band, and although Oppo claims it will last 12 days, it depends on how many features you use.
After setting the screen brightness to higher levels and turning on sleep tracking, heart rate monitoring, and notifications, the battery lasted me eight days before you have to charge it again.
Connectivity – In terms of connectivity, the band uses Bluetooth 5.0. HelloTap Health is an iOS app created by OPPO. It is a pretty handy app that is easy to use with little hassle.
You can use the app to check various workout or health statistics. The app provides information about how many steps you walked today or how many calories you burned after exercising. In addition, you can check your progress within the native app by syncing the app with Apple Health.
- Monitors your heart rate in real-time,
- Measurement of continuous blood oxygen levels

- Music Control
- A total of 12 sports modes, such as walking, cycling, and swimming
- Sensors for optical heart rate, optical oxygen saturation, and 3-axis acceleration

Oppo Band Style has a minimalist design, quick performance, and an easy-to-use interface. Moreover, the device boasts a vibrant screen, as well as 50-meter water resistance, so that it can be worn swimming.
Besides continuous SpO2 monitoring, the Band Style also comes with two straps – a regular strap for those who like to stay active and a Style strap for those who like to dress up. All these exclusive features make it worth concluding in the list of Best Smart Band Under 3000.
- Comfortable and lightweight
- Nice touch response on the screen
- Two straps are included
- Water resistance up to 5ATM
- Fast performance
- A simple, clutter-free interface
- Improved notification management is needed
- Sleep tracking is inaccurate
- REM sleep is not recorded
- HeyTap’s Health app needs refinement
4. Honor Band 5: Feature-rich choice
Honor has been in the wearables market for many years, and its smart bands have already gone through five generations. As an evolution of Band 4, Honor Band 5 reports all of the key features yet has improved battery life and offers more indoor and outdoor activities tracking.
Design & Build Quality – The Honor Band 5 has a 0.95″ AMOLED display with 2.5D curved glass. It has a touchscreen, but you can also access the watch face or turn it on by pressing the button below. As an alternative, you may choose to use raise-to-wake.
Honor Band has a heart rate monitor that tracks your heart rate all the time, as long as you enable it. Although the wearable has no physical keys, it is bulkier than a typical fitness tracker. In spite of that, you are probably not going to complain because the watch is impressively lightweight – it only weighs 22.7 grams.
Display – It is quite bright, and the motion detector may work harder than it should, so you might end up with screens on in dark rooms, blinding yourself.
Despite the brightness setting, the screen still glows way too brightly even at its lowest level, so set your alarm for the occasional blinding glow at the most inconvenient times.
Sensors/ Functions – It tracks ten different types of activities, but it’s aimed at the average user who wants to know more about his/her body and how it works. Heavy non-stop tracking is not worth expecting as there are more advanced smartwatches on the market, at substantially higher costs.
Other than that, the Band 5 is like any other affordable smart band – it shows you notifications, buzzes when you schedule an alarm, and shows you the time when you raise your wrist.
Battery – According to Honor, Band 5 is meant to last up to 14 days. You’d get about five days if you turned off the notifications and allowed the gadget only to tell the time and measure your heart rate.
In order to reach one charge every two weeks, all the monitors, all the sensors, and all the connections must be turned off. It’s just a gadget that needs to be interacted with to work, which isn’t the point of these trackers.
Connectivity – Connecting the Honor Band 5 to a smartphone requires using the Huawei Health app. The app is available on iOS and Android as well. The pairing process is very simple. As soon as the smartphone is set up, notifications will be sent to the band. In addition, this app shows you the number of steps you’ve taken, your heart rate, and how long you’ve slept.
- AMOLED color display of 0.95 inches
- The pixel resolution of 240 x 120
- Water resistance up to 50m (50 feet)
- The bands come in green, pink, black,, and blue
- Automatic sleep monitoring and step tracking
- Tracks 10 exercises
- Heart rate monitor
- Monitoring SpO2
- Notifications on your phone
- Battery life of 14 days
Its design draws more than a few similarities to that of its predecessor, but that isn’t a bad thing. The band offers a wide range of workout options, dynamic sleep tracking, and heart rate monitoring in addition to premium features including blood oxygen readings.
It really isn’t worth paying more for additional features like GPS or NFC unless you value those features, and if you can look past a few minor inconveniences, the Honor Band 5 can be a good choice. Check out best wireless mouse under Rs.1000.
- A perfect measurement of heart rate
- Tracking is perfect
- High-quality, low-cost products
- The AMOLED display is excellent, even in bright sunlight
- The app that is simple and accurate
- Aesthetics and materials
- Charging port proprietary
- The setup process could’ve been better
5. Mi Smart Band 4: Value for Money
Xiaomi’s Mi Smart Band 4 is an affordable fitness band. The band features a color display, swim tracking, and still offers 20 days of battery life. It comes with an AMOLED color display and several watch face options, which are nice to have.
Design & Build Quality – This smart band is made of silicone, with all its electronics housed in a silicone capsule. The capsule has an LCD display and a single capacitive button below the screen. A heart rate sensor and charging pins are located on the base of the capsule. In order to charge the Mi Smart Band 4, you must remove the capsule from the band and place it in its charger.
Mi Smart Band 4 capsule is hard to fit into the charger which is quite annoying. It is comfortable to wear for long durations of time. You can comfortably wear it throughout the day and while sleeping at night. The band offers a completely secure fit.
Display – The Mi Smart Band 4 features a 0.95-inch AMOLED display. The text looks crisp, and the colors look good too. It is easy to read under direct sunlight, although the font for notifications might appear a bit thin.
Both the touchscreen and the capacitive button below the display are responsive. And the user interface is also quite good. To cycle through the screens, swipe up or down to view a workout summary, notifications, heart rate, etc.
Sensors/ Functions – The Mi Band 4 tracks activity such as steps, distance, calories burned, resting and active heart rates, and sleep. Since it doesn’t have a built-in GPS, you won’t be able to get very accurate distance metrics if you run with only your fitness tracker. You’ll need your phone in order to use the GPS feature, however.
One other feature that sets the Mi Band 4 apart is the number of workout modes it offers. The app tracks treadmill, outdoor running, cycling, walking, swimming in a pool, and the generic “exercise” workout.
During pool swimming, this Band can recognize five different styles and record 12 different data sets, including swimming pace, and stroke counts. Additionally, it even carries a water resistance rating of 5ATM.
Battery – Xiaomi states that the Mi Smart Band 4 has a battery life of about 20 days. That means, over the course of a week, the device’s battery will decrease to only 63 percent (remaining).
Battery drains faster if you enable all optional features like precise sleep tracking. The battery on the Mi Smart Band 4 will last for over two weeks on a single charge.
Connectivity – This fitness band is Bluetooth enabled with version 5.0. Make sure your phone has Bluetooth turned on so you can receive alerts from your Mi Smart Band.
For real-time alerts, you have to allow your phone’s settings to allow Mi Smart Band notifications access. You can also adjust some features in the Mi Fit app’s settings, such as incoming call notifications.
- Color AMOLED full-touch display
- A 20-day battery life
- 24/7 heart monitoring
- Volume and music controls
- Tracking of swimming strokes
- Resistant to water
- 1 Year Manufacturer Warranty
This device has a great display, a comfortable design, and accurate workout tracking. Mi Fit is still a pretty good tool, and there is a lot of flexibility in how you can customize notifications.
The Mi Smart Band 4 comes with several features that are disabled by default. Secondly, Xiaomi’s choice of a proprietary charger is very disappointing. With a price tag of Rs. 2,299, the Mi Smart Band 4 is one of the best fitness band under 2500 you can currently buy.
- Real-time tracking of activity
- An eye-catching display
- Suitable for swimming
- Notification patterns that can be customized
- Batteries that last long enough
- A proprietary charger that doesn’t fit
- Tracking features by default are disabled
- High-intensity workouts make heart rate sensors fail
6. Samsung Galaxy Fit E: Best Build Tracker
The Galaxy Fit band is a stripped-down version of the regular Galaxy Fit and features the most basic functions of a fitness tracker at an affordable price of 2690.
Design & Build Quality – Although its design isn’t groundbreaking, it is acceptable for a device at this price point. In terms of the build and body of the Galaxy Fit-e, there is nothing to complain about, as it is sleek, compact, and lightweight. The strap material is quite soft, that you might forget you’ve worn a fitness tracker.
Putting on the strap is a bit difficult because it has a complex closing style, but it is safer than fitness trackers with generic closures, like a wristwatch. Since the fitness band is water-resistant (5ATM), you can wear it while taking a shower or washing your hands, otherwise, it would have been really annoying to put it on and off over and over again.
Display – Featuring a 0.74-inch pixel screen of 64*128 resolution, the Samsung fitness tracker has a PMOLED display. While the display is bright but the information cannot be read under direct sunlight. Due to the low resolution, individual pixels on the display can also be identified.
Galaxy Fit-e is not equipped with a touchscreen, as the setup interface mentions. It is not possible to swipe between screens by forwarding or backward. To go back to a screen you just passed, you have to scroll through the entire loop after tapping on a screen. Concluding all, the whole tapping process is not flawless.
Sensors/ Functions – In terms of activity tracking, Galaxy Fit-e automatically tracks activities such as walking. It reminds you to keep walking if found the inadequate number of steps you usually take. Step counts, however, aren’t always accurate.
Galaxy Fit-e tracks sleep by tracking body movements. The definition of deep sleep is the period of time during which you don’t move a muscle. Heart rate is continuously measured by the tracker and can be viewed in the Samsung Health app.
When you remove the tracker, the Fit-e turns off the heart rate monitoring to conserve battery power. You can dim the brightness of the wearable device at night by setting a schedule in the app. However, this feature could have included the option to schedule the wake-up time.
Battery – After a full charge and while wearing the fitness tracker day and night, the 70mAh battery lasts for about two and a half days. If you put the tracker down while you sleep, you can extend the battery life beyond three days. Also, charging the tracker does not require removing the tracker body.
Sadly, it does not alert you when the battery is running low and requires that you check the Galaxy Wearables app to inform you, which is not very convenient.
Connectivity – If you own a new Samsung smartphone, you don’t need to download anything because the app will work perfectly. When the tracker is fully charged, simply connect it to the Galaxy Wearable application and configure it. In order to use it with another brand of smartphone, you must download two apps, which are – Samsung Health and Galaxy Wearable.
- Swimproof, compact, and lightweight
- Battery life of up to 6 days based on usage
- Blood pressure monitoring
- It has a continuous heart rate monitor & auto-detects three exercises
- Receive smartphone notifications and alerts
- PMOLED Display
- Resistant to Water
It’s a lightweight and comfortable fitness tracker that doesn’t require instructions to start tracking your fitness regime. In many cases, the battery life of three days will not be enough. The Galaxy Fit-e lacks many features that are now desirable in fitness trackers at this price point, including a scrollable interface and a touch screen panel. Thus, it becomes more difficult for it to compete with its rivals.
- Looks decent
- Lightweight, compact design
- Stylish and comfortable
- Water resistance up to 5ATM
- Workout plans abound
- The Samsung Health app is very easy to use
- Weight management & food intake
- Typical battery life
- No control over incoming calls
As there are so many features and specifications to grasp, wrapping your head around them is a bit challenging. However, if you’re looking for something that offers great features under 3000 INR, the HONOR Band 5 or Mi Smart Band 5 are the best options.
If you’re not concerned about your band being able to do all the high-end, advanced functions, the Samsung Galaxy Fit E would be perfect for you. The Mi Band 4 makes a great choice if you’re only concerned about basic functions with high accuracy. If you’re looking for a band that not only offers a style statement but is also comfortable, Oppo Smartband is all you need.
Nonetheless, preferences are subjective, and you should go with the band that feels right to you. Choosing the Best Fitness Band from this list is up to you. Stay fit, stay healthy!
